Our School has a State Syllabus of Karnataka which offers  skill-based curriculum aimed to develop the student’s critical and creative thinking skills, effective communication skills, interpersonal and collaboration skills, and information and media skills. The State Syllabus curriculum of Karnataka provides a great way to deliver education with a global perspective.

The program has two exams, Semester I and Semester II, respectively, and each exam covers 50% of the total program. KSEAB conducts national exams annually for 10th and 12th-grade students. The curriculum is a standard sequence in which sessions are planned for students to practice and develop proficiency in content and apply skills that they have learned.

Features of the Karnataka State Syllabus curriculum

Key subjects– The Karnataka State Syllabus curriculum consists of core subjects like mathematics, English, science, social science, Kannada and Hindi. It provides a detailed and firm education in these main subjects.

Co-curricular activities–  The curriculum allows you to participate in various co-curricular activities like debates, dance, sports, arts, Computer, Scouts and Guides, Junior Red Cross etc. This curriculum encourages students to focus on both outside learning as well as studies.

The focus of the Karnataka state syllabus curriculum is on applying excellent teacher training and learning methodologies. It reforms testing and assessment practices. The goals of the curriculum are to use such techniques in teaching that will enable any student to become successful, confident, responsible, and a good citizen.
